Special Programs and Services for Our Family of Golfers
(All of these services can be purchased or inquired about at our Pro Shop counter.)

Golf Schools: Part of our mission of "growing the game and our people" includes the creation of new golfers, as well as increasing the enjoyment of our current golfers. We do this for our community's children, with Junior Schools, held throughout the year, including Saturday mornings during the school year. We also hold New Golfer Schools designed for beginners who have never played, and also for those who have only played occasionally and want to learn more. However, in both of these programs we do more than teach the golf swing. We also talk about the spirit of the game, course etiquette, players' responsibilities, how to make tee times, and some of the golf jargon that you will need to know to fit in with other "real" golfers!

Individual Lessons: Our staff of seven PGA of America golf professionals is highly trained and motivated to teach the game. Every level of golfer can have their golf instruction needs met by our staff.

Driving Range: Our 220 yard driving range is self service, it operates on range tokens. Each token cost $1.00 and retrieves approximately 10 balls. We also offer a discounted packet of fifty tokens for $40.00.

The Links Club Card Resident Discount Card Program:  Cost is $50 plus tax ($53.25) for a 12-month card which is valid October 1, 2007 - September 30, 2008. Or you may purchase a 6-month card at $25 plus tax ($26.63), valid April 1, 2008 – September 30, 2008. The fees for these cards are not pro-rated. Cards are available to residents of Palm Beach County.

Handicap Service: Anyone can subscribe to our computerized handicap service located at the website, www.gafgolf.org. This service allows you to post scores from The Links and other golf courses. Scores posted will establish your handicap index, so that you can determine what your handicap will be from the tees you play at different courses. The annual fee for this service is $21.30.

The Links' Men's and Ladies' Golf Associations: The men play their tournaments on Thursdays, and the women play theirs on Tuesdays, year round. Both permit holders and Links Club Card purchasers are welcomed to join. Maximum handicaps are 40 for women and 36 for men. Contact information for these organizations is posted on the bulletin boards in the locker rooms.
