The Development Department, Building Division is responsible for permitting and inspecting all construction within the City of Boynton Beach. These processes ensure that the buildings where we live, work, and play are safe for their occupancy and use. The primary goal of the Building Division is to protect the health, life safety and welfare of our community and its citizens.

The Division reviews permit applications, blueprints, and other construction documents for code compliance, issues permits and conducts field inspections in accordance with the standards set forth in the Florida Building Code, the City of Boynton Beach Administrative Amendments to the 2001 Florida Building Code, and the City of Boynton Beach Code of Ordinances.
