Fiscal Year 2010-11 Budget Hearings Set

Following three days of budget workshops, the City Commission approved a tentative tax rate of $7.2 per $1,000 of real estate value on July 21. The first reading and public hearing of the proposed budget and tax rate is set for Monday, Sept. 13, 6:30 p.m., in the Commission Chambers at City Hall, 100 E. Boynton Beach Blvd. The second public hearing is set for Monday, Sept. 27, 6:30 p.m., also in the Commission Chambers. The City’s estimated revenues and expenditures for FY2010-11 are available here:
